As you know, Interbike is both the beginning and end of our model year, and the 2011 show was a giant success! We are introducing new models and great new features on existing models for 2012. We've taken a moment to highlight the changes for 2012, the complete info is available on our website.
• Our race-oriented tandems, the Supremo, Macchiato and PeriScope Hammerhead are equipped with BB30 for 2012; the oversized bottom bracket standard that has been an enormous success for road bikes. Performance-minded riders will be excited to see BB30 for the first time on a tandem, and what is likely the only BB30 eccentric shell being produced. We make it here, naturally.
• Touring models for 2012 are updated with 10-speed drivetrains, offered in STI and Bar End shifter configurations. Solid reliability on our tandem line for the past few years shows us that it's well up to the task.
• Twenty-Niners, we've introduced two models for 2012. The Divde is the ultimate trail touring bicycle, and the Java, an ultra rugged tandem equipped to take on extremes and get you to the most exotic of destinations grinning.
• Say Goodbye to the Nor'Wester Tour and hello to the Cascadia. Due to mass hysteria and panic we have renamed the Nor'Wester Tour the Cascadia to better differentiate it from the Nor'Wester. Unlike its big brothers, the Americano, Pangea and Divide, the Cascadia is outfitted with your choice of an Ultegra STI Triple drivetrain, or wider range touring kit.
• If mud, sweat, and tears is your thing you will be happy to know that the Demon's demonic sibling, the Lucifer, is back in town. Bikes are equipped with Reynolds 853 or ACMUltra7 Aluminum tubing and the Ritchey WCS Carbon CX Fork to insure you devour your competition.
• 2012 Forks will make you want to Spoon with your Co-Motion! Not only do we continue to offer our in-house made steel single and tandem forks but we now offer the Co-Motion Carbon Tandem Disc Fork, included in the performance package. Single racing bikes are paired with the clean lines and performance of the ENVE Carbon 2.0 fork. 2012 Nor'Wester's tempt your senses with the smooth feel of the Co-Motion Long Reach Carbon Fork or the sultry companionship of our new Lugged Steel Fork.
