Warranty Information

Co-Motion frames, forks and stems carry a limited lifetime warranty for the original owner of the bike. Any failure resulting from faulty material or manufacture will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. The components on our bicycles are warranted by their respective manufacturers.

Your new Co-Motion

Thanks for buying a Co-Motion bicycle! To register your new bike CLICK HERE. Your new bike should come to you fully assembled and ready to ride. As you begin to put miles on your new Co-Motion it will need some occasional maintenance. Your local Co-Motion dealer should be able to help you with these things. If you have any questions about how to properly maintain your bicycle, our website, http://www.co-motion.com has a wealth of information to help you do it. We update our site regularly but if the information you seek isn’t there please feel free to call us toll free at: (866) 282-6336; or e-mail at: .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

Warranty Issues

Should you feel that you have a warranty issue, your first step is to contact your Co-Motion dealer. Your dealer will confer with us to determine the best course of action. We will make every effort to remedy the problem as soon as possible. On warranty work, Co-Motion will pay shipping within the U.S. at standard delivery rates. Expedited and/or upgraded shipping is available, at cost to you, the owner. Co-Motion Cycles’ warranty is applicable for original owners only.

Your Co-Motion’s Serial Number

You’ll find the serial number stamped into the bottom bracket shell on single bikes, and into the front bottom bracket shell on tandems. The last two digits of your serial number indicate year of manufacture- ie SH12397 would indicate 1997. However, since we change model years each fall, bicycles manufactured in September through December usually have the next model year’s color and features. Our serial numbers do not include a month-day code.

Touch-up Paint

Sooner or later, your beautiful Co-Motion paint finish is bound to suffer a scratch here and there. Naturally, you’ll want to keep your bike looking as good as possible, and more importantly, protect it from corrosion. Because the paint on your Co-Motion is a special catalyzed finish requiring professional equipment and techniques to apply, it doesn’t make a good touch-up paint on its own.

Our supplier for touch-up paint is Autocolor Service Incorporated. They supply us with the paint we used on your bike and they are now offering small bottles of paint that can be used for touch-up. You may call them, toll free at: 866-672-8201.
